Model 775 Daybed by Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn

Designed by Josef Frank in 1938 for Svenskt Tenn, the Model 775 daybed is a wonderful example of his approach to furniture design comfortable, functional, and effortlessly elegant. With its clean lines and generous proportions, it works equally well as a sofa for everyday seating or as a daybed for relaxing.

The fully upholstered body is finished in a black textile and rests on Josef Frank's distinctive stained beech globular legs, a detail that adds character while giving the piece a lighter visual presence. The simple silhouette allows it to fit naturally into both modern and traditional interiors.

Built with a wooden frame, nozag spring support, and generous padding, the daybed offers excellent comfort. The removable cushion is filled with synthetic fiber and feathers, creating a soft and inviting seating experience. The original Svenskt Tenn label is present.

The daybed measures approximately 78.7 inches in length, 36.2 inches in width, and 26.4 inches in height. Seat height is approximately 16.9 inches.

Condition is very good vintage. The piece presents very well overall, with only minor signs of age and use consistent with a vintage item of this period.
