Vico Magistretti Maralunga Three-Seat Sofa for Cassina in Black Leather

An iconic Maralunga three-seat sofa, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1973 for Cassina in Italy. Regarded as one of the most influential sofa designs of the 20th century, the Maralunga combines exceptional comfort with innovative engineering and was awarded the prestigious Compasso d'Oro in 1979.

This example is upholstered in black leather, giving the sofa a timeless and sophisticated appearance. Its defining feature is the ingenious adjustable backrest system, which allows each back cushion to be positioned upright for additional head and neck support or folded down for a lower, more relaxed profile.
