Mid Century Lounge Chairs Beech Sheepskin Pair
A pair of mid-century lounge chairs from the 1950s–60s.
These have a very easy, relaxed look. The frames are in beech with softly tapered legs and a slightly open shape, so they don’t feel heavy in a room. There’s a nice balance between the wood structure and the soft upholstery.
The seats and backs are upholstered in a thick sheepskin-imitation fabric in a cream tone. It has that soft, textured look you usually see with real sheepskin, and it adds a lot of warmth to the overall feel. The padding is generous, so they’re comfortable without needing cushions.
Under the seat, the curved stretchers tie everything together and add a bit of detail without making it too busy.
Seat height is about 15.4 inches. Typical proportions for this type are around 25.6 inches in width, 27.6 inches in depth, and about 30.7 inches in height, so they work well as lounge or occasional chairs.
Condition is good vintage. The beech frames show light wear and small marks from use over time. The upholstery remains full with only minor signs of handling. The chairs have also been reinforced, so they feel solid and ready to use.
What we like about them is how comfortable and easy they are. Nothing complicated, just a good shape and materials that work well together.
As with all vintage pieces, signs of use are part of the story. Colors can look slightly different depending on the light. If you’d like more photos or details, just let me know.
