Otto Schulz Swedish Modern Easy Chairs for Boet, Pair in Black Velvet
A beautiful pair of Swedish Modern easy chairs, designed by Otto Schulz and manufactured by Boet in Gothenburg, Sweden during the 1940s. Considered among Schulz's most recognizable seating designs, these chairs perfectly embody the elegance and craftsmanship that made Boet one of Sweden's leading furniture manufacturers during the mid-20th century.
Each chair features a sculptural elm wood frame with gracefully shaped legs and softly curved lines that create a warm, inviting silhouette. The chairs have been newly upholstered in luxurious black velvet plush, giving them a sophisticated contemporary look while preserving their original Scandinavian character. Their generous proportions and gently curved backrests provide exceptional comfort, making them ideal as statement lounge chairs in both classic and modern interiors.
Each chair measures approximately 31.5 inch wide, 29.5 inch high, with a 16.5 inch seat height.
The chairs are in very good vintage condition. The upholstery has been professionally renewed, the elm wood frames remain structurally sound, and the chairs show only light signs of age and use consistent with their vintage character.
As with all vintage furniture, minor signs of age are part of each piece's history. Colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings. If you would like additional photographs or more information, please feel free to contact us.
